Eagle Ford Shale

Energy Hunter Resources, Inc., owns and operates 162 gross (162 net) acres located in the heart of the Eagle Ford Shale along the Edwards Trend in Karnes County, Texas.  The Company’s Gap Band Project is prospective for both the Lower and Upper Eagle Ford regions as well as the Austin Chalk formation.  Management currently estimates that a total of 5 wells can be drilled in the Lower Eagle Ford formation with the potential for additional 2 wells in the Upper Eagle Ford formation.  The Austin Chalk formation also has potential for 2 horizontal wells.


The Eagle Ford Shale is a proven mature unconventional resource play with substantial infrastructure and abundant takeaway capacity.  Energy Hunter drilled its first well, the Gap Band #2H, in the project and is planning to fracture stimulate this well in the fourth quarter 2017. The Company plans to drill two additional wells in the first quarter 2018.  The South Texas Eagle Ford shale region continues to be a major area for deal flow and operational activity for the Company.
