Eagle Ford Shale

Energy Hunter Resources, Inc., owns and operates 427 gross (400 net) acres located in the heart of the Eagle Ford Shale along the Edwards Trend in Karnes County, Texas.   The Company’s Gap Band and Mixon Projects are prospective for both the Lower and Upper Eagle Ford regions as well as the Austin Chalk formation.  Management currently estimates that a total of 14 wells can be drilled in the Lower Eagle Ford formation with an additional 10 wells capable of being drilled in the Upper Eagle Ford Formation.

 

The Eagle Ford Shale is a proven mature unconventional resource play with substantial infrastructure and abundant takeaway capacity.  Energy Hunter plans to drill two wells in Karnes County in the first quarter 2017.  The south Texas Eagle Ford Shale region continues to be a major area for deal flow and operational activity for the Company.
